Year 3 have been studying myths and their structure. They have looked closely at Ancient Greek Mythology and have read myths such as 'Theseus and the Minotaur'. The children have worked very hard writing their own 'quest myths'. Our young authors are (in order of reading): Prasanth, Isaac, Simran, Amy, Chelsea-Mae, Jack, Harry, Paige, Ophelia, Tom E. and Mason. ENJOY!!

Peterbrook caters for the learning needs of all its children. In 2005 we began our Year 1-Year 6 'Brain Academy' learning programme for our highest achievers. These children take on a huge range of Literacy, Numeracy and Science based challenges on a weekly basis. Today is something special as our Year 5 'G&T' Team present for you their first 'wacky' radio broadcast where they have fun writing, rehearsing and presenting crazy radio shows!! ENJOY!!

In September 2010, Prince William completed his training as an RAF search and rescue pilot. He found the training difficult and had to fly during the day and night, in all weather conditions, over land and sea. During his training he took part in several practice rescue missions over the Irish Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and in the mountains of Snowdonia, Wales. He is now based at RAF Valley on Anglesey, off the coast of Wales. He is working in a team of four men, flying a Sea King helicopter. The children were asked to write an imaginative story about a rescue mission involving Prince William. Sit back and enjoy Phoebe's story...
