Peterbrook's involvement in the performing arts is well established and we are recognised as a 'GOLD Artsmark' status school by Arts Council England for the quality of our curricular and extra-curricular activities. The arts are everywhere at Peterbrook as we believe that children who participate in music, drama and dance, always enjoy themselves as their confidence and self-esteem grows. As you know, our children dance every Tuesday morning with Learning Curves Dance from 7.45am!! Sometimes it's difficult to learn new dance moves and so we are now able to support our dancers with this rehearsal track to listen to at home. Have you ever heard an ocarina? What about a class full of them? These tuneful variations on a 'recorder' are fun to play and offer another chance to perform together and make great memories! Our musical children from Class 6R present an introduction and three tunes for you to enjoy!
Recorder Club have worked very hard this term and they have enjoyed learning their songs. They did an excellent performance during a whole school assembly. Here are the four songs they performed: 'When the Saints', 'French March', 'Jingle Bells' and 'Silent Night'. Well done to our Recorder Club and 'thank you' to Mrs. Davies.
Well done to our School Choir who went to the NIA for the 'Young Voices' Concert. They sang beautifully and had a wonderful time. Miss Pearce has recorded some of the best songs that were performed at the event. Here are the final three tracks: 'Adiemus'- sung with special guests 'All Angels', 'Crazy Amazing'- sung with special guest V V Brown and 'Polar Express Medley'.
